Stuart Payne has been a fully Licensed Real Estate Agent for over 40 years. Stuart's entry into real estate began in the Eastern Suburbs, where he was Sales Manager at L J Hooker Maroubra. He then became Manager of an L J Hooker Branch when they were Company run offices. He established Raine & Horne Maroubra in 1976, had a young family and lived in the Eastern Suburbs before moving his family to Cronulla in 1980, commuting back to Maroubra on a daily basis. After 12 years the lure of working locally, closer to his 4 young children, made the decision to sell his business easy and he established Burraneer Bay Real Estate 21 years ago.
Stuart's love of the Shire, its people and lifestyle is recognised by many who deal with him. It has always been his first priority to look after clients, either as Vendors or Purchasers, to achieve the best results and cherish the friendships made.
Stuart's vast experience in dealing with all facets of real estate from Council Authorities to Government Departments enables him to give sound advice to clients. Builders and Developers often call on his expertise for their projects in design and concept stages.
Living locally, now with adult children and 4 young grandchildren, Stuart gets great satisfaction when dealing with families in the important decisions of buying and selling real estate.
Away from work he enjoys relaxing with family and friends, playing golf at New South Wales Golf Club where he is a member as well as running, cycling and boating.

I first met Adam several years ago at an open house. Although I did not purchase that property I was so impressed with the way he interacted with me as a potential purchaser that I was determined to keep him in mind for a time when I, too might be selling my own property. Dear Stuart & Adam, We wish to express our sincere thanks to you for all you did in helping us to secure a very successful auction result on our Dolans Bay property. Burraneer Bay Real Estate handled our Woolooware Road sale in 1995 and our experience then was such that we felt we need look no further this time. However, conventional wisdom says that vendors should seek more than one market opinion, so we asked five other agents to appraise our property. That exercise served to confirm what we already thought about BBRE……..that yours remains a no-nonsense approach to Real Estate, telling us what we needed to hear, not necessarily what we wanted to hear. That wasn’t always the case with the other appraisals and in a climate of dizzy Real Estate stories it’s vital that things are kept in perspective. That’s where your years of experience really come into their own and ultimately that’s what makes the difference. Whilst our property wasn’t in the seven-figure bracket, we never felt that we weren’t receiving the same attention as those that were. The quality of advertising and fliers was first class and no doubt contributed to the very large number of inspections we had. The Open Houses and the Auction itself were all conducted with the utmost sensitivity and professionalism and it certainly helped to ease us through the process.
